Allen County Public Library (ACPL) provides access to The Studios that are open for public use. Unlike our guided programs, open hours at The Studios allow participants to use library-provided equipment for their own projects. Participants may bring their own project supplies or purchase them from the library.
ACPL Studios include 3D printers, electric cutters (Cricut/Silhouette), laser engravers, recording booths, and other equipment and accessories.
All minors (17 and under) who would like to use the ACPL Studios must have a participation release signed by a parent/guardian on file.
Please review the following guidelines:
- Staff support is available upon request, but Studio participants are not closely supervised during open lab hours.
- Children in sixth grade or younger must be directly supervised by a responsible parent, guardian, or caregiver while in The Studio.
- All Studio users are subject to the library's Patron Behavior Policy and Supervision of Minors and At-Risk Patrons Policy.
- Using The Studio carries the risk of injury to yourself, your child, and any personal items you bring to or create in the Lab.
By signing below, you agree and affirm:

You and your child are participating in the Activity at your own risk, and ACPL neither makes any representation about nor ensures the safety of the Activity.
